A Foleon Case Study
Wageningen University & Research needed a way to turn its print magazines and research outputs into attractive, mobile-friendly digital publications that would engage an international audience. After finding WordPress slow and limiting, WUR chose Foleon’s digital publishing platform to present scientific stories in a more visual, responsive, and snackable format that could better capture readers’ attention.
Using Foleon, WUR launched Resilience Magazine and multiple internal and external digital titles with support from Foleon’s design and support teams. The results include more than 9,000 unique visitors to Resilience, a 3.5‑minute average reading time, a 55% English/45% Dutch readership split, and rapid engagement for internal projects (1,000 uniques in two weeks), demonstrating measurable reach, shareability, and international impact thanks to Foleon.
