Barclays, a major universal bank, sought to transform its online stockbroking services into a fully digital and market-leading wealth management proposition that would be accessible to its entire online customer base. To meet this challenge, Barclays partnered with the vendor FNZ.

Working in close partnership, FNZ implemented the "Smart Investor" wealth management and brokerage platform for Barclays. The solution was fully integrated with the bank's systems, providing seamless access for customers on desktop and mobile. A key result was the successful migration of approximately 350,000 customers and £15 billion in assets onto FNZ's technology. FNZ now provides the full end-to-end outsourced service, enabling Barclays to offer a comprehensive and accessible investing platform.
