A FMX Case Study
Saginaw County’s Maintenance Department, which cares for more than a dozen county buildings including the courthouse, juvenile detention center, animal shelter, and county jail, struggled with paper- and email-based work orders that were difficult to track. Requests were slow to address—sometimes taking months—historical records were stored in boxes, and compiling invoices and reports was time-consuming, prompting the department to seek a better maintenance-management solution.
The county implemented FMX, whose simple, cloud-based interface and mobile access made adoption fast for all staff and enabled real-time tracking, budget control, and productivity validation. As a result, work order response time dropped by 80% (from about 5 days to under one), invoice creation time fell by 97% (from days to hours), and the team now has time to take on special projects and renovations.
