COMTEX, a not-for-profit laundry and linen services provider in Columbus, Ohio, operates a state-of-the-art processing plant with about 250 employees serving local healthcare facilities. Before FMX, the plant struggled with a cumbersome, overly detailed maintenance system: work orders were often requested by word-of-mouth or email and were missed or delayed, planned maintenance wasn’t tracked, record-keeping and cost tracking were spotty, and not all staff were computer savvy.

The cloud-based platform centralized and organized work requests so orders are completed promptly, enabled remote access to work orders, improved record-keeping for planned maintenance and equipment costs, and provided reliable support when needed.
