Worthington Schools, a central Ohio district of 18 schools serving about 10,000 K–12 students, relied on pen-and-paper processes and separate school-level tracking for maintenance and facility requests. That created no request visibility, lengthy approval chains (up to 10 people), frequent follow-ups, and missed revenue from facility rentals because billing and paperwork were not centralized.
Implementing FMX provided a cloud-based, easily customized platform and responsive onboarding support, allowing staff to submit and track work orders and access a single district calendar. Facility requests, invoicing, and required liability documentation are now managed in-system, speeding approvals, reducing paperwork, and improving accountability and revenue capture.
