A FMX Case Study
Faultless Linen, a Midwest healthcare linen-only laundry provider with certifications for hygienic and infection-control standards, opened a new facility but found its legacy maintenance system inadequate. Staff couldn’t access the system remotely, work orders relied on emails, calls and other manual methods, preventive maintenance was ineffective, reporting was limited, and poor inventory control led to missing parts and excess supplies.
By implementing FMX’s cloud-based platform, Faultless centralized work orders, preventive maintenance, inventory and reporting into an intuitive, mobile-friendly system with automated time- and meter-based PMs, alerts, dashboards, and barcode/QR inventory control. The change enabled easier work-order submission and tracking across departments and delivered tangible gains: more than 4× ROI, $18,000 annual inventory savings and about $3,000 annual savings from reduced reactive maintenance.
