A FMX Case Study
Fairfield County’s Facilities Operations Department, which maintains 24 public buildings in Ohio (including the courthouse, sheriff’s office, and dog shelter), was struggling with a disjointed maintenance process: no scheduling for conference rooms and vehicles, work orders lost across emails/calls/faxes, a failing fax-based workflow, and no system for tracking historical maintenance metrics like response or resolution times.
Implementing FMX consolidated requests and records into one user-friendly platform, added Planned Maintenance scheduling for boilers, filters and elevators, and gave mobile access to daily assignments. The result: longer asset lifecycles, optimized technician routing and measurable time and cost savings, easier reporting to justify funding, and faster, more accountable operations.
