To modernize payments and improve the student experience, the university turned to Flywire and its Education Payments receivables solution.
Flywire implemented an online, local-payment-capable system with real-time tracking and faster posting to student accounts, automating reconciliation and refunds. As a result, Flywire helped UTS save more than $4.15 million in merchant and bank fees, recover 10,000+ hours in reconciliation and refund processing plus 400+ customer support hours, handle tens of thousands of cross-border transactions across dozens of currencies (and more than $515M processed), and deliver faster, clearer payment flows that improved student satisfaction and visa processing.
