Windows to Japan, a luxury Destination Management Company founded in 2005, creates custom tours across Japan for clients in the U.S., U.K. and Europe. Before Flywire, its payment process relied on international bank transfers that were slow to arrive, often had errors or mismatched amounts, and made it difficult to reconcile payments and confirm bookings quickly.

Flywire implemented its Payment Request Solution with an integration into Windows to Japan’s booking platform, allowing the team to request payments by email and let clients pay in their own currency by card or bank transfer. With Flywire, payments arrive in Japanese yen and in full, reconciliation is automated, and booking turnaround has improved to around three days, while internal admin, payment errors, and customer inquiries have been significantly reduced.
