The Alamo Inn and Suites, a limited-service hotel near Disneyland, faced severe challenges during the pandemic as tourism and convention business dried up. Their primary hurdle was effectively managing pricing and staffing in an intensely competitive market with over a hundred nearby hotels, a challenge their previous revenue management system failed to meet. This allowed the hotel to increase its ADR, nearly matching its 2019 revenue with fewer rooms sold.
