Droprise, a drone inspection service provider based in Belgium, needed to demonstrate the value of advanced surveying technology to its potential clients. Partnering with Flyability, they sought to test the new Elios 3 drone equipped with its Surveying Payload LiDAR on a challenging project: mapping a 600-meter road bridge without disrupting traffic.

Flyability's solution involved using the Elios 3 and its high-accuracy Surveying Payload to collect data from underneath and alongside the bridge structure. This approach eliminated the need for disruptive and dangerous work at height. The Flyability drone successfully captured the entire bridge in just four flights in less than a day, with over 90% of the data accurate to within 1 centimeter. This provided Droprise with a highly detailed 3D model to showcase to clients, proving the efficiency, safety, and precision of the technology for major infrastructure projects.
