Pinkerton Improves Grantee Satisfaction and Saves Time With Fluxx Grantmaker

The Pinkerton Foundation, a small New York City grantmaker focused on youth programs, struggled with an outdated on‑premise grants system (Microedge GIFTS) that left its sole grants manager buried in paper proposals, manual data entry, inconsistent records, and time‑consuming payment tracking. These inefficiencies limited the team’s capacity and created frustration for both staff and grantees.

Moving to Fluxx Grantmaker’s cloud portal consolidated workflows, automated payment updates and notifications, and put applications and data in one accessible place, enabling more team members to participate in review cycles.
