SparkCharge, a mobile EV charging pioneer, needed a new app platform after its earlier MVP and contracted development approach led to delivery issues and backend limitations. The company turned to FlutterFlow and Firebase to build SparkCharge Mobile, a more scalable and user-friendly replacement for its existing app.

With FlutterFlow, SparkCharge migrated from Adalo to Firebase, added Smartcar API integration, GPS tracking and geofencing, and expanded sign-in options like Google and Apple. The new app launched quickly, and SparkCharge reported a 500% increase in active users and an 800% increase in revenue, with successful rollouts in Austin and Boston and expanded service in existing markets.
