A Fluix Case Study
Panorama Helicopters, a Canadian operator with a 12‑helicopter fleet, faced strict safety and weight limits, time-consuming manual paperwork (about 10 lb of binders per cockpit), and slow, error-prone audit traceability that cut into crew rest and office productivity. To address these challenges they chose Fluix and its electronic flight bag (EFB) / document management capabilities.
Fluix rolled out an EFB solution and automated workflows, moving mandatory documents onto iPads, syncing forms to the cloud, and streamlining crew–office reporting. The change freed cockpit space, saved 12+ labor hours per week (600+ hours annually), generated about $25,000 in cost savings, created 26 automated workflows and 3,400 digital documents, and made Panorama the first helicopter company in Eastern Canada able to provide a fully paperless audit trail — all enabled by Fluix.
