Case Study: Atea achieves paperless municipal meetings and major cost and environmental savings with Fluix

A Fluix Case Study

Preview of the Atea Case Study

Norwegian Municipalities Go Paperless And Save Tens Of Thousands Of Trees

Atea, the market leader in IT infrastructure for businesses and public-sector organizations across the Nordic and Baltic regions, faced huge overhead from printing and distributing meeting materials for municipalities: high costs, environmental waste, heavy binders, no easy way to update or revoke content, and long processing times. To address this, Atea partnered with Fluix to roll out an electronic document-distribution and iPad annotation solution for council members.

Fluix provided each municipality with a dedicated account and administration portal to manage users, connect document repositories, and deliver encrypted, auto-synced meeting materials that can be annotated and read offline. The Fluix deployment supports thousands of council members in over a hundred municipalities, reduced errors, increased efficiency, enabled audit of document access, sped up rollout with minimal training, and saved paper equivalent to forests the size of tens of football fields annually.
