Wind Pioneers, a specialist technical consultancy for wind farm design, faced the challenge of scaling its prototype WindQuest software to handle larger, more complex projects and refining its user experience for client use. Fluent collaborated closely with Wind Pioneers over a five-week process to redesign the UI, enabling the management of sites with over 200 turbines and introducing features like an estimate mode and a graphical map view. This solution significantly sped up the iterative design process, with calculations that once took days now being done in minutes. The outcome was a robust internal tool that saves considerable time and provides Wind Pioneers with a strong foundation for a future marketable product.
