How Rukket Sports Switched From a Regional 3PL to Improve Amazon and DTC Shipment Performance

Rukket Sports, an athlete-founded sports equipment brand, needed a more reliable fulfillment setup when Amazon restricted inventory during the pandemic and their regional 3PLs couldn’t keep up with growing multi-channel orders. The company turned to Flowspace to improve shipping performance for its Amazon and DTC business, using its fulfillment network and software to manage FBA prep, FBM, and Shopify fulfillment.

With Flowspace, Rukket Sports quickly transitioned to East and West Coast fulfillment centers and connected Amazon and Shopify under one system for inventory and order management. The results were strong: a 10% increase in margins on FBM and Shopify orders, 255% higher DTC fulfillment capacity, a 20% increase in the share of sales from the website, and more than $50k in annual savings by replacing WMS software.
