Trade Fairs Brno (BVV Veletrhy Brno), a leading trade fair and exhibition organizer in Central Europe, needed better visibility and control across a large network with more than 60 active Cisco devices, full Wi‑Fi coverage, and complex traffic flows. The company wanted to verify compliance with security policies, detect internal and external attacks, identify data leaks and infected devices, and improve QoS and network latency analysis. Flowmon Networks provided its Flowmon ADS and Flowmon Probe 2000 to replace slow, manual traffic investigation with automated behavior analysis.

Flowmon Networks implemented a monitoring setup where the Flowmon Probe 2000 was connected to SPAN ports on the central switch and the DMZ switch, mirroring all network traffic for continuous analysis. Flowmon ADS Standard then automatically generated events and reports in real time, giving Trade Fairs Brno immediate insight into suspicious behavior, attacks, and network issues. The result was significantly lower network administration costs, faster detection and investigation of incidents, and a clear reduction in manual effort, with the customer reporting a much more effective real-time overview of network problems and security threats.
