SWAN, a major Slovak internet connectivity provider for corporate customers, needed a better way to protect its clients’ networks from growing DDoS threats while also improving network visibility and offering more value-added services. Flowmon Networks helped address this challenge with a three-level network monitoring and DDoS protection service built around Flowmon Collector, Flowmon DDoS Defender, and F5 BIG-IP AFM.

Flowmon Networks and SWAN implemented an integrated solution that detects attacks, automates mitigation, and gives customers better insight into network activity. The service enabled SWAN to launch Basic, Standard, and Professional protection tiers, and within four months it was already in use by 20 customers across sectors such as banking, media, and public administration, while also strengthening SWAN’s own network protection and boosting its service portfolio.
