RoutIT, an internet, cloud, and ICT services provider in the Netherlands, needed to monitor and protect a very large network with 100,000+ IPs, multiple 10Gbps channels, and a 10Gbps backbone while handling ongoing DDoS attacks. Flowmon Networks helped address the challenge with Flowmon Probes 20000 SFP+ and integration for DDoS visibility and detection.

Flowmon Networks implemented hardware-accelerated Flowmon Probes with TAPs on the key channels, exporting NetFlow data to Arbor PeakFlow SP for DDoS detection and mitigation. The result was no-packet-loss monitoring even during volumetric attacks, strong network visibility, reporting from uplink traffic, and a flexible setup that can scale with infrastructure upgrades or additional uplinks.
