Case Study: PAGI improves network visibility and troubleshooting with Flowmon Networks

A Flowmon Networks Case Study

Preview of the PAGI Case Study

PAGI - Customer Case Study

PAGI, a Polish telecommunications operator with a large regional data network, needed better visibility into traffic across its infrastructure for peering optimization and troubleshooting. Before working with Flowmon Networks, PAGI relied on open-source tools and local support, but lacked commercial-grade monitoring and accurate on-demand insight into network traffic.

Flowmon Networks implemented Flowmon Collector Virtual Appliance (IFC-3000-VA) with two monitoring ports, using NetFlow/IPFIX data from edge routers to provide lossless traffic monitoring and analysis. The solution improved network visibility and performance, enabled IPv4/IPv6 drill-down and anomaly detection, and supported security services and customer portal reporting; with 3TB of storage, PAGI can retain around 3–6 months of traffic history for troubleshooting and customer requests.
