Case Study: Haga Hospital improves network visibility and security with Flowmon Networks

A Flowmon Networks Case Study

Preview of the Haga Hospital Case Study

Haga Hospital - Customer Case Study

Haga Hospital, one of the largest general hospitals in the Netherlands, needed better control and visibility across an extensive MPLS VPN-based network supporting critical healthcare systems, multiple sites, and more than 3,600 employees. With no clear visibility into traffic behavior, the hospital turned to Flowmon Networks, using Flowmon Collector and Flowmon ADS Business to monitor and analyze all network traffic automatically, prioritize traffic, and eliminate unwanted applications and protocols.

Flowmon Networks implemented Flowmon Collector at the core of Haga Hospital’s network and added Flowmon Anomaly Detection System (ADS) to profile connected devices and detect abnormal behavior. The solution gave the IT team “eyes in the network,” improved security, and better network utilization, while helping them understand bandwidth needs during traffic peaks and prioritize business-critical hospital traffic for faster response and control.
