Geco, a.s., the Czech Republic’s largest distributor and seller of tobacco and lottery products, needed a better way to monitor a very large and growing network spanning headquarters, branches, distribution centers, and retail locations. Its existing monitoring with Fluke Networks was no longer sufficient for the scale and traffic demands of the environment, and the company was looking for a centralized solution to detect operational and security issues more effectively. Flowmon Networks provided the needed visibility with its flow-monitoring technology, including Flowmon Probe and Flowmon Collector.

Flowmon Networks implemented a centralized monitoring solution using Flowmon Collector for analysis and storage, plus Flowmon Probe to capture flow data and application protocols in high quality. This gave Geco detailed real-time and historical insight into network traffic, user behavior, devices, and security incidents, helping the IT team respond faster to problems and threats.
