Bonatrans Group, a multinational manufacturer of railway wheelsets and related components, needed better centralized visibility and security across a large network spanning its main site in Bohumin, remote operations in India, and a branch in Prague. Flowmon Networks was brought in to help monitor traffic and manage the infrastructure without needing a physical presence at remote locations, using Flowmon Collector and Flowmon Probe.

Flowmon Networks implemented a distributed monitoring setup with a virtual Flowmon Collector in India, a hardware Flowmon Probe in Bohumin, and Flowmon ADS for anomaly detection. The solution gave Bonatrans a single view of network behavior across sites, improved troubleshooting and configuration discovery, and enabled detection of unwanted anomalies, with easy remote deployment and management thanks to virtualization support.
