Warwickshire County Council needed a replacement for its existing flow monitoring solution, which lacked adequate capabilities—especially long-term flow data retention. The council wanted support for NetFlow and IPFIX from multiple routers, two months of uncensored flow history, and a deployment that could run on existing hardware with professional pre- and post-sale support. Flowmon Networks provided Flowmon Collector IFC-1000-VA as the chosen solution.

Flowmon Networks deployed its virtualized flow monitoring platform on existing infrastructure, with the collector installed out of path to core devices. The new setup delivered detailed traffic visibility, full flow retention, and easier management, helping Warwickshire County Council troubleshoot incidents much faster. The council reported significantly improved MTTR soon after deployment, with quicker resolution of both operational and security issues, and a smooth move from PoC to production with configuration preserved.
