3S, a telecommunications provider in Poland, operates a large data network across southern Poland and needed better network visibility for accounting and billing, peering optimization, and troubleshooting. To address this, Flowmon Networks provided Flowmon Virtual Collector to monitor traffic across its infrastructure.

Flowmon Networks implemented Flowmon Virtual Collector to collect NetFlow/IPFIX data from 10Gb internet edge routers, giving 3S full IPv4/IPv6 traffic visibility and drill-down analysis for any communication. The solution improved billing accuracy, supported peering optimization and traffic engineering, and enabled customized reporting and alerts; with 6 TB of storage, 3S can retain up to a month of traffic history for analysis.
