Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) turned to Flowingly to address visibility and efficiency issues in its enrolment and approval processes. Across multiple teams, work was being delayed by unclear responsibilities, paper-based steps, and approvals sitting unattended for days, creating bottlenecks for both staff and students. NMIT used Flowingly’s process mapping and workflow automation tools to create a central, web-based reference point for staff and better understand each process step.
With Flowingly, NMIT built trackable workflows for course/programme cancellations and student cancellation/withdrawal processes, with assigned tasks, reminders, and real-time visibility. The results included faster approvals, reduced bottlenecks, stronger step ownership across three teams, and much easier audits thanks to a complete digital record.
