Stemming the Tide Of Pollution and Paperwork

Tideway — delivered by the CVB joint venture on the Thames Tideway Tunnel — faced multi-site, paper-heavy processes, poor visibility and COVID-19 restrictions that made compliance, communication and process improvement difficult. They selected FlowForma and its FlowForma Process Automation tool to replace paper forms and speed up onboarding, diaries and other routine workflows.

FlowForma implemented no-code digital workflows tightly integrated with SharePoint (built via FlowForma’s SureStart training), including New Project Starter/Leaver forms and Daily Site Diaries with offline mobile capability and PDF outputs. The solution reduced paper use, improved governance and remote working, surfaced data into Power BI for continuous improvement, and delivered measurable time savings — “at least 700 hours” saved on repetitive tasks — while enabling rapid adoption across teams.
