Large Oil Refinery, a major UK site employing around 800 people across nearly 1,900 acres, struggled with sprawling, paper‑based processes in Health & Safety, HR and Finance. Important forms were routinely lost, hand‑offs were slow, and governance and reporting were poor despite an existing SharePoint repository. The refinery chose FlowForma and its FlowForma Process Automation tool to digitalize and streamline these processes.

FlowForma delivered the solution through its SureStart training, an enterprise license and on‑site consultancy for complex forms, embedding a central SharePoint repository and training 12 superusers. The customer developed more than 30 flows (eg. new employee arrival, health referrals, safety equipment requests), with tasks now completed at least 5x faster, improved audit trails and searchable records, better KPI dashboards for reporting, and measurable time and cost savings that accelerated the refinery’s digital transformation.
