Downer, a leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand with over 30,000 employees, needed to eliminate paper-based on-site processes, reduce manual errors, and centralize data to support a more data-driven approach. Cameron Hyndman’s Transport & Infrastructure team selected FlowForma Process Automation to replace paper forms, integrate with GIS and existing systems, and include subcontractors in public-facing workflows.

FlowForma delivered a no-code Process Automation solution—digitalizing Permit to Dig workflows with GIS integration, a Photo Uploader tied to Power Automate/SharePoint/ArcGIS, QR-enabled project induction via FlowForma Engage, and an Automated Purchase Order flow that processed 4,500+ PO requests. The deployment automated 23 processes, engaged 200+ users, and saved over 3,350 hours (including 1,191 hours on PO requests, 638 on bitumen testing, and 354 on inductions), while improving governance, auditability, productivity and client perception.
