Sullivan Engineering, a New York–based civil engineering firm of 60 staff specializing in exterior restoration, was struggling to scale because error-prone paper processes, scattered Excel tracking, and process knowledge trapped in people’s heads were slowing projects and creating oversight gaps. After a three-month search the company chose FlowForma’s no-code Digital Process Automation platform to digitize core reporting processes such as Field Reports, a Covid Checklist, and Weekly Investigation Reports.

FlowForma built templated “flows” (the Covid Checklist in under a day, more complex Leak Investigation flows in under a week) that centralized inputs, version control and change management, and cut rollout time to a quarter of previous solutions. The implementation halved project review time (from two days to one), enabled faster reporting and photo uploads, allowed Sullivan to take on almost twice as many deliverables, and created a reusable knowledge repository to support scaling.
