Hoober, a family-owned seller of new and used agricultural and construction equipment, was handling used-equipment appraisals on paper which caused duplicated data entry, inconsistent records, and slow time-to-sale. In 2009 Hoober partnered with Flowfinity Wireless Inc., adopting Flowfinity’s enterprise mobile app platform—offline-capable mobile forms configurable without coding and integrated with their Microsoft Dynamics NAV back end—to go paperless and let non-technical staff manage app changes.

Flowfinity Wireless Inc. implemented configurable, offline mobile apps and an app editor that streamlined field data capture, eliminated re-keying, and pushed structured appraisal data into Hoober’s systems. The result was faster, more accurate appraisals and listings, higher inventory turnover and reduced carrying costs, and improved profit margins—especially on high-value equipment (around $300,000)—with instant app updates across all devices.
