The Principality of Monaco, through its Extended Monaco digital transformation program, partnered with Flowbird to create a unified platform to simplify multimodal travel, reduce vehicle traffic, and promote sustainable mobility and local culture. The challenge was to move away from fragmented services by developing a single sign-on Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) application that could integrate planning and payment for transport and attractions.

Flowbird addressed this challenge with the Monapass application, a solution that allows users to plan, book, and pay for various mobility and cultural services in one place. The results were significant, with the platform quickly achieving over 40,000 active users, processing 50,000 transactions per month, and facilitating over one million bus and bike-share journeys, successfully supporting Monaco's sustainability goals.
