Great Dane, a trailer and truck body manufacturer, faced challenges with manual, time-consuming processes in its supply chain and order management that existed outside its core ERP system. Seeking agility and lean manufacturing improvements, the company turned to the vendor Flowable and its business process and case management platform to gain better control and orchestrate end-to-end processes.

Flowable implemented a low-code solution, beginning with a successful proof of concept that was quickly expanded. The resulting application, Supplier LEAN Alert, automated the process of raising parts issues with suppliers, adding transparency and reducing human error. This provided up-to-the-minute metrics and structured a previously manual task, leading to faster issue resolution. The positive results accelerated Great Dane's digital development and expanded their strategic vision for the platform.
