UpWest, a Palo Alto–based venture firm that backs Israeli founding teams (most recently raising a $70M fund and managing more than 90 investments), struggled with document management and investor communications as its LP base grew past 200. Relying on email and Excel left K-1s, account statements and quarterly reports buried in inboxes, creating repetitive requests and heavy admin overhead. To address this, UpWest implemented Flow’s Investor Portal to centralize LP management and communications.

Flow built investor profile pages, backfilled prior data and uploaded subscription and tax documents into UpWest’s portal so LPs could find materials directly. The result: requests and “where is my X” emails fell to practically zero, the team reclaimed dozens of hours per quarter, and UpWest now delivers clearer, more transparent LP service—what they describe as a “world‑class LP experience” thanks to Flow.
