engageSPARK, a platform described as the Survey Monkey for reaching people without internet access, faced a challenge when a client needed to trigger automated phone surveys from a Google Sheets CRM. Their own platform lacked this specific integration, and building it internally didn't make sense. They turned to Flow XO's automation platform to creatively extend their functionality without extensive development.

The solution involved using Flow XO to create a flow triggered by a change in the Google Sheet. This flow would then call the engageSPARK API to initiate a customized survey and, finally, update the sheet with the results. This use of Flow XO allowed engageSPARK to offer this extra service to their client successfully. As a result, the company increasingly relied on Flow XO to expand its platform's capabilities, eventually replacing other tools.
