Kings Seeds, a New Zealand mail-order seed business, had grown from manual processes into a high-volume e-commerce operation but faced a major integration challenge: linking its Microsoft Access customer database, a Zeald e-commerce site, and Infusion Professional accounting to avoid time-consuming manual imports and accommodate different workflows for retail and commercial customers. The company engaged Flow Software to design a fit-for-purpose integration to address these issues.

Flow Software implemented an automated integration that syncs customer data between Access and the Zeald site, transfers orders into Infusion, and generates consolidated transaction files for daily reconciliation. The result: staff time freed from manual data entry, greatly improved data integrity, and simple daily reconciliation of totals instead of reconciling 1,000+ individual transactions; the solution has processed more than 1,000 orders a week and run reliably almost every day for a decade under Flow Software’s ongoing support.
