Stevenson Group Looks to Flow Software for Smoothly Integrated Operation

Stevenson, a long-standing construction, property, mining and quarry management group, needed to integrate best-of-breed vertical applications with a new Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP while preserving its existing hub-and-spoke integrations and enabling future apps. The challenge was to avoid forcing specialised systems (such as Command Alkon for concrete batching, weighbridge and lab software) into a single ERP and instead maintain seamless, efficient cross-system processes using Flow Software’s middleware.

Flow Software implemented its Flow Middleware as the integration hub (NAV was implemented by Theta), allowing the team to “unplug” JD Edwards and “plug in” NAV without redoing integrations. Over a ~six-month rollout, Flow Software connected Command, weighbridge, SmarTrak, CRM and NAV to automate QA data lookup (technicians now enter only a ticket number), enable fleet tracking and ensure enterprise-wide data consistency for billing and AR. The result: seamless data exchange, reduced manual entry, no need to reengineer integrations for future upgrades, and a proven support model with built‑in error checking that Stevenson cites as a key business benefit.
