NZ Post, New Zealand’s national postal service, needed a way to solve missing manifest issues that were causing billing delays and costing significant time and money. Some customers submitted manifests manually, and web outages, hardware failures, or human error meant manifests sometimes never reached NZ Post, making it impossible to bill those shipments.

Flow Software provided an integration-based solution that reconstructed missing manifests using labelling data from scans and physical data from sorting machines. The automated process filters and maps business rules to generate up to 10,000 manifests per day and $60,000 in invoices daily, paying back the Flow Software licence cost in less than a day and supporting about $20 million in annual revenue.
