A Flow Software Case Study

Lewis Road cashes in on FMCG integration

Lewis Road Creamery, a fast-growing New Zealand dairy brand best known for its chocolate milk, faced a surge in demand after its 2014 launch that saw orders double to between 300 and 400 per day. Their existing MYOB AccountRight Live system required extensive manual keying, causing errors, delays and limiting expansion (including plans for South Island distribution). Lewis Road engaged Flow Software for EDI integration and middleware to automate order exchange with key customers.

Flow Software worked with Enprise to implement MYOB Exo and deploy Flow’s middleware to translate and automate customer order/replenishment data (including integration with Foodstuffs’ new SAP). The solution eliminated manual data entry, enabled rapid processing of hundreds of daily orders, provided exception reporting to catch duplicates and anomalies, improved on-time dispatch and reconciliation, and gave Lewis Road the scalable integration capability to support further growth.
