Hall’s Group, New Zealand’s largest chilled foods transport company with around 500 staff, a fleet of 250 trucks and 15 depots, was struggling as growth and acquisitions left it dependent on manual job entry and minimal EDI. That manual process caused delays, incomplete job details and pressure on time‑sensitive refrigerated deliveries, so Hall’s Group engaged Flow Software to provide an EDI/integration solution to automate order processing.

Flow Software deployed its integration platform across the Hall’s Group to pick up customer orders and automatically feed them into the transport management system. The result: what once took data‑entry staff much of the day (often leaving 200 jobs unprocessed until mid‑afternoon) now loads in about five minutes each morning, giving dispatch early visibility, reducing errors and knowledge loss, and enabling Hall’s Group to onboard EDI‑savvy customers and pursue new business.
