Expol, a provider of solid insulation and lightweight construction solutions, faced rising transaction volumes with major customers Bunnings, ITM, and Mitre 10 and needed to move from manual processing to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). To meet this challenge they engaged Flow Software for a ready-to-go integration engine that could scale with their EDI requirements.

Flow Software implemented a scalable EDI integration, initially automating invoices for Mitre 10 and ITM and later adding purchase orders and invoices for Bunnings, connecting directly to Expol’s Exonet ERP. As a result Expol now processes invoices and POs automatically—including price validation, allocation to specific locations, and printing work orders at the correct branch—significantly reducing manual processing and streamlining operations.
