A Florence Healthcare Case Study
Alsa Research, a two-site research organization in Stamford, Connecticut (16 staff, ~500 trial participants/year), struggled with site workflow fragmentation caused by up to 10 sponsor-mandated technology platforms per trial. Coordinators routinely spent about 15 minutes locating a study-specific link up to ten times daily—roughly 2.5 hours lost per day—while onboarding and long gaps between visits made it hard to track which systems were active. To address this, Alsa Research partnered with Florence Healthcare and adopted the StudyOrganizer browser extension.
Florence Healthcare implemented StudyOrganizer to centralize study bookmarks, contacts and platform logos, making study-specific tools visible and shareable across the team. The result: immediate time savings (eliminating repeated 15‑minute searches), faster access to registration and randomization systems during patient visits, smoother study start‑ups and onboarding, and cleaner, more accurate data with fewer errors—enabling the site to conduct more patient visits and operate more efficiently.
