701x Precision Ranching, a company that builds smart ear tags for livestock, faced the challenge of ensuring uninterrupted data flow from their sensors in remote U.S. pastures. Dropped or delayed connectivity due to poor cellular coverage had measurable consequences for ranchers, including missed breeding windows and animal losses. To solve this, 701x partnered with floLIVE.

floLIVE implemented a solution using a single multi-IMSI eUICC SIM that autonomously switches between terrestrial operator networks and falls back to NTN satellite access when no cellular signal is available. This provided a level of reliability that ensured real-time data flow for critical livestock alerts with zero manual intervention. As a result, 701x was able to deliver on its promise of always-on connectivity and is now scaling this proven model to international markets using the same floLIVE SIM technology.
