Case Study: Dirty Labs prevents stockouts and boosts revenue with Flock Freight

A Flock Freight Case Study

Preview of the Dirty Labs Case Study

How Dirty Labs prevented stockouts and increased revenue by up to $200,000

Dirty Labs, a Scottsdale-based household products company founded in 2018, sells sustainable cleaning products and relies on Amazon to distribute more than half of its inventory. But tight appointment windows, delayed pickups, and limited buffer stock made Amazon deliveries difficult, causing stockouts, warehousing fees, and lost sales. To improve its shipping reliability, Dirty Labs turned to Flock Freight and its terminal-free FlockDirect® service.

With Flock Freight’s Shared Truckload solution, Dirty Labs moved freight directly from pickup to Amazon distribution centers, skipping the LTL hub-and-spoke network and improving delivery visibility. The result was a 70% reduction in transit time, consistent 2–3 day deliveries instead of about 10 days, and an estimated $200,000 in avoided revenue loss. Flock Freight also helped Dirty Labs skip about 175 terminals and avoid 6 metric tons of CO2e emissions while keeping inventory moving and preventing stockouts.
