AmerCareRoyal (ACR), a restaurant industry leader for disposable supplies, needed a better way to ship mid-sized freight during the COVID-19 supply chain disruption. Its loads were often too large for LTL but too small for full truckload, and many customer deliveries required appointments, forcing ACR to rely on inefficient and costly shipping methods.

ACR partnered with Flock Freight and used FlockDirect® shared truckload (STL) service to match shipments and fill trucks more efficiently. With Flock Freight, ACR improved efficiency and customer service while saving an estimated $896K in truckload shipping costs, achieving 97% on-time pickup and 94% on-time delivery, and avoiding 1,857 metric tons of CO2e.
