Trend-Setter Land and Houses Attracts Anchor Tenants with High Traffic Volumes

Land and Houses, the developer behind the Terminal 21 mall in Thailand, needed a reliable way to measure visitor traffic across the property to prove the value of retail spaces, support tenant negotiations, and better understand customer flow in different areas. They worked with FLIR - Brickstream and its Brickstream 3D people-counting technology to collect accurate traffic data throughout the mall’s halls, lanes, entrances, escalators, and car parks.

FLIR - Brickstream deployed ceiling-mounted Brickstream 3D sensors and remote device management software to continuously track mall visitors and analyze traffic by area, time of day, and season. The results helped Terminal 21 measure campaign effectiveness, improve security staffing, assess conversion in common areas, and set retailer rent based on traffic and sales conversion, with the high visitor volumes also helping attract anchor tenants such as H&M.
