How Havergal College Increases their Online Presence and Saves on Printing with FlippingBook Publisher

Havergal College, an independent girls’ school in Toronto, produced numerous annual publications (course calendars, handbooks, alumnae magazines) but faced high printing and international postage costs and no easy way to update printed materials. To build a stronger online presence and reach a wider audience, the school’s Communications and Marketing team chose FlippingBook and its FlippingBook Publisher product as a digital publishing solution.

Using FlippingBook Publisher, Havergal College publishes responsive flipbook editions on its website, emails direct links, and shares publications via social media, which cut printing and shipping needs and broadened readership. Mailings of The Torch fell from about 6,200 to 5,500 copies per issue while FlippingBook editions receive over 6,000 page views per issue; FlippingBook’s regular updates and polished, mobile-friendly output have enabled the school to expand to 5–10 publications a year and improve engagement.
