Tata Communications, a $3.2 billion global telecom company with 8,000 employees across 40 countries, needed a better way to keep staff informed without relying on email newsletters, portals, and enterprise social networks that required employees to proactively check for updates. The company chose Fliplet to create an internal communications app that would make news and announcements available anytime, anywhere while reducing inbox spam and improving productivity.

Using Fliplet and its IBM MaaS360 MDM integration, Tata Communications built and deployed the Insider App in less than 10 days, with no need for technical skills and with support for iOS and Android devices, offline access, RSS feeds, and push notifications. Fliplet enabled secure rollout across the business, and the app was first deployed to 100 users with positive feedback before being expanded to all employees.
