mhplus, one of Germany’s largest company health insurance funds, needed a secure and flexible way to communicate across locations with dual students and trainees nationwide. Its existing communication setup was fragmented across different tools, made networking new employees difficult, and could not securely handle sensitive personal data. To support modern onboarding and training for digital natives, mhplus turned to Flip and its employee app.

With Flip, mhplus introduced a location-independent, DSGVO-compliant communication solution hosted on German servers and integrated into its existing IT infrastructure. The app replaced private messaging tools, enabled nationwide coordination between students, trainees, and managers, and was well received for its simple, modern usability. Since adopting Flip in 2018, mhplus has used the platform for over 3 years and reported 25% fewer meetings, while also being able to start onboarding two months earlier.
